I hope Leno is a fucking failure at 10pm. He may have indirectly gotten “Southland” canceled, so thanks for depriving me of Ben McKenzie, Jay! I will not be watching your chin, no sir. It’s a shame that the whole Leno/Conan transition isn’t working out better, but I don’t know the whole story there, so I don’t know who to put the blame on. Did Conan threaten to leave NBC if he wasn’t promoted? Did NBC want Leno out? The only blame that one can place is on NBC for keeping Leno and putting him in that 10pm slot. The old people will never “get” Conan. The young people won’t watch him earlier. I think it’s just lose-lose for all involved.
